A partial interior & exterior renovation to a prefab “Leisurama” house that was available for purchase from Macy’s in the mid 1960’s. A few streets in Montauk are lined with them. They have all taken on their own character over years of additions and renovations.
For this project the exterior is re-clad with cedar, a long lasting and traditionally used material on the East End of Long Island. The siding continues off the house and forms a fence that provides privacy from the road and creates a well used exterior courtyard
